yes, I got it from the manufacturer's site. It seems to be a later version than the one you told me to install, which, unfortunately, I am not able to install. With version 5.10.1.6310 installed, I cannot install version 5.10.55.20 because I am told that the former one is newer than the latter ...

I can start to create a profile, but the game always crashes during the process of doing so.

Well ... It seems I've been a bit too optimistic. I now get to the point where I can select a new game, and then it always crashes.

I just disabled the update function. Now it finally works.
