Quest for the Golden Beetle
The shotgun is lying there in the open. So why is it treated as a secret (you hear the chime), it's just silly.
Using the crack at the start. If Lara moves to the left direction all the way to the end, she freezes there, no way to shimmy back to the right direction... :roll:
Just shooting a vase in a corner causes serious earth-shaking and architectural changes ... oh c'mon that's silly.
The flyby in the tall room with the ledges and two push-tiles appears after i already pushed the first tile, interfering with my actions on my way to the second tile... And at the second tile, Lara makes the gesture of pulling up of a wall lever instead of pushing a tile in front of her...

The Hathor Effigy at the start presented as a secret while in fact it is essential at the end... In fact i had to replay the whole game for it because i forgot to pick it up the first time and got stuck close to the end! :D But that's ok because the game is a simple pleasure to play.
Maybe a tad too simplistic.
I rate it 6 / 10

Rapid Fall
Horrible boring start. Starts boring and stays boring long enough to lose my attention.

seems 100 times better but also boring as well sofar! :eh:
One door opens another, opens another opens another... etc
Shootable bones, shootable bones, shootable bones, shootable bones... whoops a deadly white ghost, quickly to the birdie cross-statue! whoops a deadly white ghost, quickly to the birdie cross-statue! Whoops a deadly white ghost, quickly to the birdie cross-statue! Room after room after room after room after room, still no crowbar. Pulled a lever that doesn't seem to do anything.
Maybe it's me. Quits for today.
===
Found it... The hint is missing. I usually don't find it a very good idea to pull a lever without knowing what it does, but here you just have to, and spend an hour finding out what it does....
===
Well i don't know how it was supposed to end. By me, it ended this way: after i saw the skeleton walking inside the crack (so, its body for 90% being inside the solid stone pillar), i stood at the side of that pillar looking up and Ctrl+Alt jumped. Hurray the bug that launches Lara so she grabs the monkeyswing on the ceiling! I could now easily push/pull all 5 switches. The end. Although i suppose it was not the way it should end.
I rate this game 6½ / 10

The Origins

Goddammit. I'm standing in the window (with the push tile), NEXT to where the pointy boulder rolls back and fro... still as soon as it rolls by (mind you: Lara standing higher up, and NEXT to the path!) it kills Lara. :roll: :nuts:
Standing in the other window (where i came from) the same.

A game that starts like that, which such obvious flaw, why would i waste one more second trying to play it. :thdown:

Sigh. It's probably me...
===
It's sort of a folly rather than a tr adventure. A lunatic park. And why are the two big gratings climbable on the inside, BUT NOT on the outside... :-|-:
I don't like it at all. I stopped when entering the lava room.
Well built though.

Oh no... those levers and levers and levers... :-|-: The corridors that look alike... Desorientating... I'm lost. No... IT has lost my attention, rather.

Seems good. The start is beautiful! :thup:
I never understood why many little white vases are not shootable; only some (containing a goodie). It is so illogical. Just let them all be shootable.

Yes this one is very good. :)

Mists Of Avalon by Titak
This is built on a HORRIBLE engine overhaul version that suffers a quicksave / quickload interface not working properly, using the PDA takes hitting the button 4, 5 times before the contents shows up, the whole inventory interface is a hit or miss; loading up the game the main menu often freezes (while the game loads on the background, i mean the game does work) and a half-ruined controlsystem: when hanging from a pole, holding look and sideways arrows is normal but the up arrow (for looking up) is taken for the actual swinging movement! You can't look up!

I played a few minutes in the gym which is a copy of the gym in TR Legend.
And then i got lost in the control system. :-|-:
The only nice aspect sofar is that Lara looks good. Enjoy on the main menu. :roll:

However she's supposed to be barefoot, so the pants try to cover up the boot-heel shaped heels. It's creative but looks a bit weird... :wth:

Lots of coconuts in the arboretum but only one (although it looks identical) she picks up. :wth:

It is not very exciting this game... :nope:

=== in fact so extremely unattractive this game, i will not continue.

Hmm, no guns?
The Indian Chief talks way too much, and i can hardly understand a word he says. :wth:
Game look good. But game voice sound bad... :-|-:

Ahh there are the dual pistols. :thup:
Wooh... this game is very good. A New Classic is born!

Why Lara only starts digging when faced East is weird. But that aside, great game!

Each following episode feels 100% authentic Tomb Raider. :thup:
