After re-installing the game, I removed the programs you listed from autorunning, and after rebooting the game still won't run (Since a couple of posts back it's stopped making the driver responding though, the game crashes before that);

I've re-installed the game now and that didn't work, and now the game doesn't have any size at all according to add / remove programs

Then your Windows installation is corrupt. It is a waste of time trying anything on an operating system that is not reliable. You sure that it appearing several times on the everest list is just not a fault of everest, not windows? Formating C: is sadly not an option.

Formatting C:\ should always be an option! Saying it isn't is always a bad choice. A computer is a precision instrument; the moment it stops being reliable it's useless, so you shouldn't cling on that. I reinstall often!
But that aside, please make screenshots of your software list then. And of the contents of your Steam folder. I'm just trying to assist you getting your PC in good order and the game installed correctly.
