The tiny clumsy default defragger's place is instantly taken over by any full defrag program when it is installed. When you uninstall that, the default Windows one reappears again. :)
You cannot prefer that? Diskeeper only has advantages.

The only reason I prefer the default defragger is that it seems to do a better job at defragging..dont get me wrong..dk lite is really fast ..but how come I can defrag it and it says 98% less fragmented files and then turn off my pc and start it up the next day and it will have a higher fragment percentage ... turning on the computer couldnt fragment files can it?

I find my self defragging at least twice a day now since Ive been using dk lite.

Theres also the fact that dk lite adds a proccess even when its not in use.. which doesnt bother me that much.

One of the Diskeeper processes is that it keeps track of changes, to make defragging faster. It offers a wealth of information, the Windows defragger could only dream of. If i recall correctly, it is based on Diskeeper technology (super basic version of Diskeeper 4 or 5). Since Diskeeper eveloved to version 10, they made version 8 a free version and took some functions out that companies would use (stealth, schedule defrag of all partitions, defrag over network) so ideal for home use.

Ok fair enough..Ill give DK lite another chance .. I can defrag my pc with dk lite 3 times if not more in the amount of time it takes the windows defragger to finish.

I still find it odd that ..maybe its an inconsistency since I dont have the full version?

thanks for your game reccomendations btw.

Have you heard of a game called advent rising? its a third person sci fi shooter where humans are worshipped as gods and an alien race called the seekers wants to destroy humanity.

You get to learn tons of powers and you can even level your powers and gun skills up.

The game also allows you to make multiple choices that affect the story...

Its got great music and voice acting and if your not a fan of 3rd person shooters you can switch it to first person.

You should look it up if it sounds interesting to you.. its on pc and the original xbox.

But that's just the point: it is much more efficient! :bigok: :)

I don't know Advent Rising. I'll look it up, thanks.
