In Windows 7 as well as Vista. Compensating via CCC's Gamma/brightness/contrast helps a little but doesn't really fix it.
And no, it has nothing to do with avivo colour, as it happens on desktop (2D) from moment 9.11 is installed. Cat 9.10 and Catalyst Hotfix for Dirt2 (8.673.1) didn't have this problem, only 9.11.
Btw, EDID option seems to be gone? My monitors are correctly detected though, and all their supported resolutions/refresh rates.
  • Catalyst 9.11 suffers from:
    1. corrupt display brightness, compensating by CCC desktop properties > Gamma/brightness/contrast helps a little.
    2. broken crossfire in hot title NFS:Shift v1.2.
      • 2. is bad, (and lousy, almost 3 months after game's release!), but 1. sets Catalyst 9.11 as rubbish from the moment it's installed.
      • Catalyst 9.9: No crossfire performance in Shift
      • Catalyst 9.10: No crossfire performance in Shift
      • Catalyst Hotfix (8.673.1) for Dirt2: even worse
      • Why are there no hotfix drivers for Shift?
