Mass Effect 2 most horrible bug 1: airlift

Help Garrus mission.

• Just entered the big construction room where Harkin is (whom Garrus is going to intimidate to get more info on Sidonis). Standing next to a pile of pipes while shooting at robots, Shepard suddenly airlifts. No way down, easy target. Dead.

• Sudden airlift next to a rock. No escape. Reload savegame.
  
  

• New Game (2nd)
  Blue Suns running out the frontdoor and starting shooting, Shepard when taking cover to regain health, suddenly rises above the rock! Easy target, dead.

• At start of level, after killing all enemies coming out of the front door. Then walking around the area, close to the front door, Shepard suddenly airlifts halfway the height of a tall rock. Stuck there. Can walk on the invisible floor around and through the rock. Squad as usual accompanies.
  No escape, no way down. Reload quicksave.

MSV Strontium Mule.

• The very first area. Covered behind the most obvious first tall crate when entering the room, using the sniper rifle to kill enemies, Shepard suddenly airlifts onto the top of the crate. Easy target for the heavy ammo fired at her. No escape. Dead.

BEING LIFTED ON TOP OF CRATE IS COMMON IN THIS GAME
Many many times walking alongside a small crate Shepard suddenly lifts on top of it, but quickly gravity corrects it and she proceeds. So it's not necessarily game-stopping, and it wouldn't be a problem if this were all about it. But in reality, the ease and frequency of this shows that the base for the serious airlifting bug (with no way down or escape except reload quicksave) is omnipresent in the game.

• Help Garrus mission.
  After killing the mechs, turning around to the far backside of the platform to have an overview of the room to see if there's maybe some ammo to go back for, sudden airlift next to a crate, and squad joins lift. Luckily not too hard to escape down again.
  
  
  
  
  
  Oh and going back for ammo is made impossible anyway but i didn't realise that first.

  Sudden airlift onto the armfence (word?). Luckily, easy way down.

• Squad airlift while Shepard stays on ground
  
  Unexpected airlifting keeps happening. on various spots in every mission. Happens not only to Shepard with squad following, but squad can fly while Shepard stays down.

  while i'm firing at the Gunship, my squad is standing high up in the air. Can say i know that place, been there myself a lot...

Lazarus Research Station

• after killing the very first robots. Sudden airlift when picking up the Grenade Launcher (and walking towards the fence). Haven't even killed the drones yet. No escape.
  
  
  
  
  
  Walking over the fence, and descending onto invisible surface, killing the drones below (hoping that helps).
  
  
  
  Miranda keeps saying "Use the elevator to get down one floor" But it is impossible to reach it!
  
  
  
  "Reload Autosave" refuses to load (corrupted?)!. nothing happens.
  Last resort: Restart mission.
  GODDAMMIT and the "Restart Mission" is a save from my previous Game (imported career)!
  Well...
  EXIT GAME - START NEW GAME.

• Zanethu - MSV Estevanico Crash Site mission
  • Airlift just before the endpoint. Unreachable, and no escape. No autosave is made here, so: Restart mission.
    
    Stuck here. You can't see it in the picture, but Shepard is here standing a meter above the beam. And cannot proceed. Unable to step off, or walk forward.
    
    
    
    Can walk to the right, on an invisible surface in the air above the deep.
    
    
    
    Even more to the right in the air... but cannot manipulate Shepard back onto any solid surface around.
    
    
    
    Restart mission.

• Daratar - Eclipse Cache (secure cargo)
• While firing at one of the giant Mechs, Shepard suddenly is lifted on top of rock, the few first ones on the area. No pictures, went too quick. And it's obvious which rocks they are.

Repeatedly restart mission. Or rather reload quicksave that includes my squad selection and ammo selection per gun, otherwise i'd have to repeat that everytime too.

• Korlus - Blue Suns Facility (Recruit Grunt mission)
  Sudden airlift while standing behind an iron pillar. Just scoped for a snipershot at a Blue Suns Trooper in the distance, i didn't even make the shot cuz hop, uplifted.
