I Have this problem, when i am trying to start Dark Messiah Mulitplayer i get past the intro movies, but then i get a quick loading screen. Then the game crashes and a pop up window turns up saying:

Platform Error: module failed to initialize
platform error cant get to main menu it chrashes

You have set Steam interface language to English?
Top menu Steam > Settings > tab "Interface" > set to English.
Then relaunch Steam.
