[UPDATE: THIS IS A AMD/ATI CROSSFIRE ISSUE WITH CATALYST 12.11 BETA]
Oops! A slope-jump with roll and a right-side curve to grab a corner-crack. Quite challenging.
I made it within about 30 tries, i finally understood it instinctively.
Then, while holding onto the crack i wanted to save game,
but hitting Esc while holding Ctrl: froze the PC. :fp:
After reboot, trying to launch the game, it freezes the PC. :fp: :fp:
After reboot, the same happens: it freezes the PC. :fp: :fp: :fp:

[UPDATE: THIS IS A AMD/ATI CROSSFIRE ISSUE WITH CATALYST 12.11 BETA]

Next day i boot up the PC, and after say 10 minutes i try to launch the game. IT FREEZES THE PC!
After reboot, i go to setup, select 1920 x 1200 32 bit -which it had been all along i had not changed-, launch the game and it starts rightaway! :)
Would it need to be setup everytime after fresh boot of PC? :???:

I redid the jump successfully. It's not that hard.... crucial is that you flip in mid-air right after taking off, not after landing on the slope.

This seems to prove you have to run setup each and everytime before starting the game.

This proves to me that you have to run setup each and everytime before starting the game.

The game itself, although i haven't finished it yet, could be worth a full fat 10 / 10 in my opinion. It is marvellous throughout, from its tricky jumps, excellent puzzles to its gorgeous design in the various levels.

Achillesheel: half of the jumps require micro-precision, where you can't really see/measure in advance what kind of jump you are going to do. Makes you try too many times. And the boss fight ruins it completely, with its quickly boring rediculous setup leaving you almost no chances (fire from four directions, and each time boss turns red, firing at it drains your energy extra). Reminds me of bosses in Legend or worse Anniversary. Not a challenge anymore, but a waste of time. Exit.
I rate this game (with this crippled ending) 8 / 10

Next!

One more chance to Mugs - Bone Palace...
I start with setup. 1920 x 1200 / 32.
No, it doesn't run. Freezes the PC.

After reboot, trying to launch the game, it freezes the PC. :fp:

So, the lever to open a door is in a hole in the ground. Stylish. :-|-:

After picking up a Palace Key from the icy water, you can pull yourself up right through a solid ice-square, to end up standing on that proper ice-square (before it breaks of course)!...
Just like where you can pull yourself up onto the rock -expecting you'd be safe by now- but there is an ice-square underneath the rock (what's it doing there anyway?) and when it breaks you fall right through the solid rock.

So... the crack via which to shimmy towards the revolver pick-up... does not work anymore after you picked up the revolver. On your way back you cannot use that crack again even though you can easily reach it. Lara will NOT grab it. Only further back suddenly Lara grabs it again (where the crack becomes a crawlspace).

Many places where you can get stuck on the ice sliding in a loop...jump-sequences you try won't work... sometimes no escape but reload game...this is near the borders of the map, where you should not be able to come in the first place... it's confusing that you can, while it's all buggy.

The skeletons pursuing me get stuck at the spot where there's a grating on the floor..... :

This level doesn't seem to have been tested.

I'll stop playing right here.

The Team - Coyote Creek 2.
I start with setup (i hope it is obvious to the reader that i always create a new one with each new installed custom level) and confirm 1920 x 1200 / 32.
Starting game causes PC to spontaneously reboot. Booting up gets stuck at "Starting Windows" screen.
After reboot, trying to launch the game, it freezes the PC. :fp: :fp:

I boot up the PC, go to setup, select 1920 x 1200 32 bit -which it already was before-, launch the game and it suddenly starts as if nothing had been wrong.

It's when i approach a letter lying on a cabinet, where the game freezes.

After reboot, I start with setup and confirm 1920 x 1200 / 32, launch the game and it starts as if nothing had been wrong..

It looks primitive... and i get stuck IN a saloon piano...

I hit PrtScrn for a screenshot. Game freezes, and Task Manager is not able to end the process.
Reboot.
Desktop screen suddenly is 1920 x 1200, although my native is 2560 x 1600 and i want that restored.
tomb4.exe does not launch the game.
Doubleclick setup exe results in message "New settings have been changed successfully: OK" (although i have not been able to change anything as there was no menu), but after that, tomb4.exe does nothing. Which is not normal.
These crashes alltogether... i hate that crap.

Reboot, and in setup i can change/confirm 1920x1200.
Launching tomb4.exe causes a high pitch squeek from within my PC! :horror:

After reboot, i launch tomb4.exe and it freezes my PC! :-|-:
After reboot, in setup i change/confirm 1920x1200.
Launching tomb4.exe is success, all back to normal.

I want to see if Lara can shatter the window with her pistol. Umm... Lara's arms holding the pistols go right through the glass up to her elbows, but there's no shattering.

Game is too primitive, i want to quit.

TR Secret Agent by Terra Forever
In the theater all people is either clones of Kurtis or of three other women. But ok, it's just the menu background.

Climbed up the ladder, closeby a statue is a sword onto the wall. You can't do anything with it. The strangest thing: when you save at that point, and load that save again, that sword will slowly fall onto the floor -YOU CANNOT PICK IT UP (OF COURSE I TRIED) and float back to its place on the wall again.
I quit the game and wrote this down.
I read in its readme that 1920 x 1080 is the default. (hmmm... interesting).
So...
Learned from the past, i started setup.exe and chose 1920 x 1200 / 32 before launching the game.
It spontaneously made the PC reboot. :fp:
After reboot, trying to launch the game, it freezes the PC. :fp: :fp:

===
I found the crowbar. Got the sword. :whi:
And it only works if you stand in the face of the statue.

I enter the corridor and look at the first statue, while the onscreen title says "Kouter square".
I make a backward jump. Woops game reloads me to "Riverside"....
===
Back. Oh i'm in The Hague. And there's a European Summit "Acces Restricted".
Something doesn't want me here, and i don't want to be here either.

Across the street, past the Mass Effect 3 poster in the bus-box, you see that the world ends about 20 meters further on (you see the end of the map). If you walk closer, you suddenly get another map loading up, and you're back at Kouter Square. Turn around, and you see also this world ending close by.

Maybe i'll come back later.
I think 'm going to replay and finally finish "Legacy of the Gods".

I go to Legacy Of The Gods setup, select 1920 x 1200 32 bit. Start up the game... it freezes the PC!
After reboot i again launch the game, and it starts.

And oh what a fine one it is.

But in the case of custom level buggyness it's just as as bad as the previous:
this guy keeps running while stuck with his head in the rock.

YUCK! Climbing outside ladder area. You must, you have no choice - at first it looks impossible to get down there, but you're misled because the first part of the ladder has been left away... that's cheap... you can just descend over the plain wall, and even through the trapdoor tile!

Bug with the spikes trap.
Image
They should be down (i did the necessary trigger). But luckily the bug is only a visual one; Lara isn't hurt.

Which cannot be said about the same spot later, where Lara is killed by the spikes even though she is still outside...
Image

Even worse: in a next room where there are no spikes at all, but apparently adjacent to the previous section (you can still hear them nearby), killed through thin air:

And then a few moments later, you come here, which is a ladder on the wall. First you gotta think: "Lara could never do this". But then it turns out you just can jump and grab the wall, as the ladder starts already in front of your nose, on the plain wall. :-|-:

Worse: you need to grab the wall. For pushing the third and last button to open the gate to the next level, you need to "ladder-climb" where there is no ladder, just on the plain wall.
