Different Special Editions

Post by Sauntache »

I want to buy Dark messiah again, but I'm confused by the special editions available. There seem to be two:

Dark Messiah Collectors Edition:

And then Dark Messiah Limited Edition (seems to be in a larger box):

What exactly are the differences?

The first one is the double-dvd. The Collector's Edition of the game has some extra weapons: apprentice's sword, knife, daggers, bow... -but their impact is relatively heavy, making the game a little too easy- and the Making Of. I have this one myself.

The second one also has a set of cards, and a soundtrack CD... i don't have it myself but read about it in rditto's post in this thread. Would be nice to have it.

Guess I'll have to get both then. :)

Thanks for your reply, and all your efforts on this excellent site. I use it often.

Thank YOU, for the kind words!

Oh btw: the Collector's Edition also has a colourful Multiplayer-Maps foldout on glossy paper. I forgot to mention that, because i've never used it: i only play the singleplayer anyway.
