LA Noire doesn't launch anymore

I don't know when this happened. Had not played the game for almost a year now. But a few hours ago i tried to launch it but it won't. LA Noire (The Complete Edition) doesn't launch anymore.
At first, it said it needed to update. I allowed.
Then it refused to start saying the 16-bit application was not compatible with x64 windows. :vlol:
Then i tried System Restore, which did not help.
Then I reinstalled the game from the discs, which takes about 40 minutes! :eek:

Dis/en abled crossfire.
It either freezes the PC completely or gives me a brief Bluescreen + reboot. :-|-:

All other games run fine.

"L.A. Noire has stopped working" before it even launches.

Still, there seems to be no solution and no patch from the developers. Game seems abandoned.

It could be a problem with Social Club, Net Framework 4, Windows updates and patches.

I usually don't endorse cracks, but i downloaded and installed a Skidrow crack and it works right away; i now can enjoy my payed for game again! :thup:
