Steam help :<

Post by Cobsy »

I bought Lost Planet: Condition Zero there yesterday, I left it to download over night @ 1.2mb/s

I woke up this morning and the DL had stopped @ 17%, so I "Launched game" which usually makes the game continue Dl'ing to make it start, it worked, I left for work.
Just got home now and the DL had stopped on 45%, Now it wont even start DL'ing when I "launch" it.

I haven't tried deleting my Local Content yet, as its a pretty huge file. Just wondering if you know any other solutions for this :)

I bought it 4 weeks ago. Download went quite slow (2 hours?), but zero problem.
You could try: delete your Steam\ ClientRegistry.blob file. Then restart downloading.

Yes, I mean you ;p from what i've seen you know everything, you are my god :D

And yes, it did fix my problem, allthough it stopped again after a while, but the speed I got it DL'ed with made up for it, I had to do it 3 times before it was done.
I've never seen something like that happen on my Steam before though.

I could try to start one of my other games for DL and see if it was just a once in a lifetime happening.
