R9 270X reviews, should be comparable but sometimes aren't really

Post by Blín D'ñero »

I mean this is why videocard-reviews are semi-worthless.

Now look at their "standard" card's performance, the 'base line' if you will in their list, to which the "Hawk" or "Gaming" card respectively compares.

At those two seperate techpowerup.com reviews, the 'base card' 270x consistantly makes 5 fps less compared between one to the other review, and that in one and a half month difference.
Driver issue?
No, look at the nVidia results: the Geforce 'baseline' like the GTX660 Ti differs 5 fps as well.
Could it be the hard disk drive used then? I don't believe it.
Fishy.... It seems more likely that TechPowerUp Makes Figures Up, so that they fit the 'review'. :shakes:
