Ah, so the problem is solved then? :)
xplosive wrote:I don't have nTune installed anymore. It doesn't appear in my software list nor in the start menu-programs. But i can still find it under C:\Program Files\NVIDIA Corporation\nTune In this folder i cannot find a uninstaller. In the folder are many dll files. I don't if i can delete this folder without any consequences?
First look under your Services list, if you find it, end the process.
RENAME the folder (for instance, to 'XnTune'). Then just use the PC as normally. It is possible that the folder and the dll's are shared, so still in use. Then you should very soon get display problems, in which case you undo the renaming.
But if you get no problem from that (you might not notice it immediately then give it a week at least) you know you can delete the complete folder and contents.

Cranck down the ingame settings for video to lowest.
Run the game.
If it still crashes after 10m mins, we can be sure it is not the settings nor the performance of the videocard. Then we can search further.

i have tried that. In the game i set all the settings to the lowest value possible. And after about ten minutens, the game returns to the desktop...

I searched at Google for Game crashes after 10 minutes. And what i then find is that often it has to do with temperatures. But i cannot imagine that i have that problem, because my case is open and it is dust-free...

1. System is not overclocked?
2. You have disabled the 'check for new email every x minutes' function and notification in your email program?
3. Enlarge and fix the paging file to 4096 MB min and max:
BlindNero wrote:How to set your virtual memory in Windows XP:
- Right-click "This Computer" > Properties > tab "Advanced" > under "Performance" click button “Settings”.
- In the new window, select the “advanced” tab and click on the “Change” button of the “Virtual Memory” section
- In both the minimum and maximum spaces enter “4096” (without the quotes)
- To validate this modification, click on the “Set” and then on the “OK” button to close the box
- You must reboot your PC for these changes to take effect.
4. You say you have no dust. Have you checked the CPU's cooler fan? Your case is open, so it attracts a lot more dust than a closed case.

1. No, my system ain't overclocked. I let all the settings default. Only my GPU is reduced in speed

2. I shutdown Outlook when i play the game

3. Have already tried that before but will try it again.

4. Yes i checked it. I checked it also with a tool to keep a look at the temperatures. Nothing special happens.

maybe it have something to do with it, maybe not. But in my bios i have changed some memory settings:

CAS Latency (cl) 4
tRCD 4
tRP 4
tRAS 12

I got this values from the vendor site.

So you put those values manually? Try setting "@ SPD" ?
It all could as well have to do with (maybe) wrong (too low or too high) CPU/RAM volts settings, have you checked those?

Yes i put thiese values manually. On default the values were auto. I don't have the possibilty to set the value to @SPD (in BIOS). The only possibilies are auto and predefined numbers.

I don't know where i can check my volt settings. I have searched for those before, but cannot find them :S

So it's unlikely your card, or your motherboard.
Uninstall Forceware Network Access Manager. You don't need it and don't use it. I don't trust it.

-Untick ALL items in msconfig
-reboot the PC.
-Try the game again.
